About Us
Founder: Dr. Razan Hamed
Dr. Hamed started the AAOTG to support the Arab-American occupational therapy community including students, educators, researchers, practitioners, and clients. Dr. Hamed uses her intersectional experience as a practitioner, researcher, educator, and leader to bridge the cultural gap around Arab identity and culture.
Dr. Hamed founded the AAOTG in honor of her late father Taisir Hamed who loved the Arab Identity and Arab culture
Co-founder Dr. Said Nafai
Co-founder of AAOTG and founder of occupational therapy practice in Morocco, Dr. Nafai is an avid advocate of Arab identity and culture.
Co-founder Dr. Ida Koraitem
Dr. Koraitem is a AAOTG co-founder and supporter of the Arab-American community.
